Free Primary Care
Vitable Health primary care free for all full-time employees — 24/7 virtual visits, 800+ free prescription medications, no copays. Coverage extends to household members ages 18 months to 64 years.
We coach first, recognize often, and reserve formal action for the rare situation that coaching cannot resolve. Real benefits, paid training, transparent pay, and a culture built on three values you'll actually feel.
The DSP role is the most important job at Abilities LLC — full stop. Our entire residential program is built on the people who show up, shift after shift, to support the individuals we serve. Without strong DSPs, none of the rest works.
When we support our employees well, they support our individuals well. That's the whole equation.
That's why our compensation, benefits, training, and recognition programs are designed around frontline care first. Higher pay for certifications, free primary care for the household, an annual $10,000 attendance bonus pool, paid training in everything from MANDT to RBT — these aren't perks. They're the agency keeping its end of the deal.
If you're a DSP, you're not the bottom of the org chart here. You're the foundation it stands on.

Recognition isn't an afterthought — it's a system. We use WorkTango, a peer-recognition platform that gives every employee 500 points each month to recognize coworkers. Supervisors are required to recognize at least four employees a month.
Every event is accessible to all staff across all shifts and all locations. No employee is excluded from agency recognition because of their shift.
All current openings, full job descriptions, and the application form are on BambooHR — always up to date.
All new hires complete a paid orientation. Training is delivered in-person, with demonstrated competency required for skill-based topics — CPR, First Aid, MANDT, medications, nursing delegations, adaptive equipment.
Universal requirements across roles:
Note: Role-specific requirements vary. RBTs need 40-hour RBT training within 90 days. BCBAs need active BACB certification, Missouri LBA license, and an NPI for Medicaid billing. Anyone handling medications needs Level I Medication Aide (LIMA) certification — paid for by the agency.
Honest, ethical practice in everything we do — and in how we treat each other when no one's watching.
Belonging matters. We work to integrate, include, and connect — across every shift and every location.
Listen first. Respond without judgment. Recognize that everyone you work alongside is carrying something you may not see.
Our HR team is happy to answer questions about a role, the agency, or the work itself.
